Partnership Between Pegasus and Furaha to Ease Access to School Fee Financing

Pegasus Technologies Limited has partnered with Furaha Finserve Uganda Limited to make tuition lending more accessible and ensure that learners can continue their education without interruption. The partnership leverages Pegasus’ PegPay platform, enabling parents to access school-fees loans from Furaha which are paid directly to schools.
Making Education More Accessible
Through this collaboration, parents and guardians will be able to acquire short-term tuition loans with a repayment period of three months. By reducing the financial barriers that often interrupt children’s education, the initiative is designed to empower families while ensuring schools receive timely payments.
According to a report by Nile Post, the partnership will not only support tuition financing but also enhance financial literacy among parents and students—helping them understand how to manage and repay loans responsibly.
